Jude Bellingham looks set to tie his future to Real Madrid for the long haul. According to AS in Spain, the England midfielder, 23, has reached an agreement to extend his contract at the Bernabeu until 2031. As always with gossip, nothing here is official yet, so treat every item below as a report rather than a fact.

Madrid Business

Beyond Bellingham, Marca say Real Madrid could let Brahim Diaz go out on loan in January. The 27-year-old Morocco forward has been overtaken in the pecking order by 20-year-old Brazilian Endrick. Real are also reported to be among the clubs, alongside Paris St-Germain, willing to outbid Barcelona for 16-year-old Manchester United attacking midfielder JJ Gabriel, with Sport claiming the Catalans are unwilling to get into a bidding war.

Premier League Targets

Arsenal and Liverpool would need to pay more than £60m to sign Brentford winger Kevin Schade, 24, according to Teamtalk. Leeds are said to be monitoring Brazil forward Igor Paixao at Marseille, because the 26-year-old is among the players the French club may need to sell amid financial concerns, per Football Insider.

There is also interest in Barcelona defender Jules Kounde. The 27-year-old is reportedly considering his future, and Chelsea, Manchester United, Arsenal, Liverpool and Bayern Munich are all said to be watching the situation, according to 4-4-2.ch.

Contracts and Exits

At Leeds, boss Daniel Farke has reportedly agreed a new contract that will keep the 49-year-old at Elland Road until 2029, The Athletic say. Newcastle are said to be no closer to tying Joe Willock, 27, down to a new deal even though head coach Matthias Jaissle is a fan, according to the Newcastle Chronicle.

And in Italy, Calciomercato report that AC Milan defender Fikayo Tomori, 28, will leave the club when his contract expires at the end of the season, with no scope for a new deal at San Siro.

Gossip note: All items are reports from the outlets named, compiled from BBC Sport's Saturday gossip round-up of 16 October 2026. None has been confirmed by the clubs or players involved.
