Wilfred Ndidi completes move from Leicester City to Besiktas

Leicester City have confirmed the departure of Wilfred Ndidi, with the midfielder joining Turkish giants Besiktas in a permanent deal believed to be worth around £8 million.

The 28-year-old Nigeria international ends an eight-and-a-half-year spell at the King Power Stadium, during which he lifted the FA Cup, Community Shield, and helped the Foxes secure promotion back to the Premier League in 2023–24.

Ndidi, who made 303 appearances and scored 18 goals for Leicester, leaves following the club’s relegation last season — their second in three years. His exit makes him the fifth senior player to depart this summer, joining Jamie Vardy, Connor Coady, and goalkeepers Daniel Iversen and Danny Ward in moving on.
