WREXHAM LAND WELSH TARGET MAN! HOLLYWOOD CLUB SIGN KIEFER MOORE ON 3-YEAR DEAL FROM SHEFF UTD
Wrexham have made another major statement in the transfer market by completing the signing of Wales international striker Kieffer Moore from Sheffield United. The 32-year-old joins on a three-year contract, with the fee reported to be in the region of £2 million, though the club has not officially disclosed the amount.
Moore, who brings a wealth of Championship and international experience, becomes Wrexham’s eighth summer signing as the club prepares for its return to the second tier of English football for the first time in over four decades.
"I'm over the moon to join the club and I can't wait to get started," Moore said after signing. "I want to bring leadership and experience to the group. My work ethic is a big part of who I am, and I hope to help drive this team forward on and off the pitch."
Wrexham manager Phil Parkinson welcomed the move, praising Moore’s pedigree and potential impact. "He’s a player who knows the division well and has played at international level. We’re really excited to bring that kind of experience into the squad," Parkinson commented.
Moore’s arrival adds further depth to a strike force already filled with options. With Paul Mullin heading to Wigan Athletic on loan and Jake Bickerstaff joining Cheltenham Town for the season, the former Bournemouth and Cardiff striker is expected to play a central role. He joins a growing group of senior forwards competing for starting roles.
Wrexham’s rise under owners Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney shows no signs of slowing. The club has also completed deals for Danny Ward, Josh Windass, Ryan Hardie, Liberato Cacace, George Thomason, and Lewis O’Brien — adding quality and experience across all areas of the pitch.
Talks have also taken place with Ipswich Town over a move for Nathan Broadhead, with the proposed fee believed to be around £7.5 million, which would be a club-record outlay. Meanwhile, Wrexham have explored the possibility of signing Christian Eriksen from Manchester United, although the club has admitted that discussions have not progressed.
With Moore now on board and further reinforcements being lined up, Wrexham look fully committed to not just surviving in the Championship — but competing.
