Cissoko joins Bolton in loan deal from Toulouse

BOLTON LAND CISSOKO! WANDERERS SECURE TOULOUSE WINGER ON SEASON-LONG LOAN

Bolton Wanderers have strengthened their attacking options with the arrival of Dutch winger Ibrahim Cissoko on a season-long loan from French Ligue 1 side Toulouse, with an option to make the deal permanent next summer.

The 22-year-old brings both pace and versatility to the flanks, having already gained valuable experience in English football. Last season, Cissoko split his time between Championship sides Plymouth Argyle and Sheffield Wednesday, making a combined 20 appearances and scoring three goals — all during his spell with Plymouth.

A Netherlands Under-21 international, Cissoko is known for his direct style of play, quick acceleration, and ability to beat defenders in one-on-one situations. Bolton boss Steven Schumacher, who has now overseen 12 signings in what has been a busy transfer window, is expected to deploy Cissoko as a key part of the club’s push for promotion from League One.

The move also represents a fresh opportunity for Cissoko to settle and make a lasting impression in English football, with the option to stay at the University of Bolton Stadium beyond this season
