Everton agree £28 million transfer for Chelsea's Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall

EVERTON LAND DEWSBURY-HALL! TOFFEES AGREE £28M DEAL FOR CHELSEA MIDFIELDER

Everton have reached a £28 million agreement with Chelsea to sign Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall, as the Toffees move decisively to bolster their midfield ahead of the new Premier League season. The 26-year-old is set to become one of the club’s marquee summer signings, pending the completion of a medical and personal terms.

Dewsbury-Hall only joined Chelsea earlier this summer from Leicester City, following an impressive Championship campaign in which he played a pivotal role in helping the Foxes return to the Premier League. However, with Chelsea’s midfield ranks heavily stacked, the opportunity for regular minutes under Enzo Maresca appeared limited — prompting Everton to pounce.

The move is expected to provide Everton with much-needed creativity and energy in the centre of the park. The club has been actively reshaping its squad to avoid another relegation scrap and views Dewsbury-Hall as a key piece in that transition. Known for his work rate, passing range, and goal threat from midfield, he fits the profile manager Sean Dyche has been targeting.

The player is said to be open to the switch, recognising that a move to Goodison Park could offer him a consistent starting role in the Premier League — something that may not have been guaranteed at Stamford Bridge.

Everton are now finalising personal terms, with a medical expected to take place within the next 48 hours. If completed as expected, Dewsbury-Hall would become the club’s most expensive signing of the window to date.
