LEEDS LOAN OUT JOSEPH! YOUNGSTER JOINS MALLORCA ON SEASON-LONG DEAL
Leeds United have confirmed that striker Mateo Joseph will spend the 2025/26 campaign on loan at La Liga outfit Mallorca.
The 21-year-old, who joined from Espanyol in January 2022, has made 73 senior appearances for the Whites and scored six goals during his time at Elland Road.
Earlier this year, Joseph committed his future to Leeds by signing a new contract running until 2028. However, manager Daniel Farke revealed the forward had expressed a desire to move on for the season, prompting the club to sanction the deal.
His departure raises questions over Leeds’ attacking depth heading into the new campaign. With Joseph gone, the club could find themselves short of options up front unless reinforcements arrive before the transfer window closes.
