Leicester City have added another piece to Russell Martin's rebuilding project, completing the signing of 23-year-old striker Admir Bristric from Slovenian top-flight club Olimpija Ljubljana on an undisclosed fee. The Bosnian forward has put pen to paper on a four-year deal and becomes the Foxes' eighth summer acquisition.

Bristric arrives having caught the eye with an impressive loan stint at fellow Slovenian club NK Bravo last season, where he netted 10 goals in 24 appearances and played his part in helping the club earn qualification for the UEFA Conference League — a remarkable achievement for a side of Bravo's stature.

A Player Built on Slovenian Football

Born in Tuzla, Bosnia, Bristric developed through the academies before finding his feet in the Slovenian top flight. His time at Bravo served as the perfect proving ground — consistent scoring, intelligent movement, and a hunger to prove himself at a higher level. Olimpija Ljubljana, one of the more established clubs in Slovenian football, held his permanent registration, and it is from there that Leicester have now bought him out.

At 23, Bristric is still very much in the early stages of his development as a professional. His arrival at the King Power Stadium gives him the platform to continue growing under a manager who has shown a willingness to build around young, hungry talent.

Leicester Rebuild Under Russell Martin

Bristric is the eighth summer arrival for a Leicester side that finds itself in League One following a difficult run of recent seasons. Manager Russell Martin is putting together a squad capable of competing at this level while keeping an eye on the future, and Bristric fits the profile — energetic, technically sound, and with goals in his boots.

He follows Wes Burns, Tommy Watson and Liam Cullen through the door in what has been a busy window for the Foxes. Martin's vision appears to be one built on youthful energy and upward potential, and Bristric — having proven himself in a competitive European league context — adds another dimension to the striking options available.

Bristric: 'Amazing to Be at a Club Like Leicester'

The striker was clearly delighted to complete the move, expressing his excitement on the club's official channels.

"I feel proud and amazing to be at such a big club like Leicester," Bristric said. It's the kind of sentiment that suggests a player fully aware of the opportunity in front of him — and keen to make the most of it.

For Leicester fans hoping to see a swift return to the Championship and beyond, an eye for goal from a young striker with a point to prove could prove to be exactly the kind of addition that makes a difference over the course of a long season.
