Leeds complete signing of Justin, their 10th summer arrival

LEEDS SIGN LEICESTER'S JAMES JUSTIN ON FOUR-YEAR DEAL AS 10TH SUMMER SIGNING

Leeds United have completed their tenth signing of a busy summer window with the arrival of 27-year-old full-back James Justin in a £10 million ($13.5m) deal. The England international, capped once by his country, will now look to play a key role in helping the Whites secure their Premier League status this season.

Justin, who made close to 100 top-flight appearances during his time at Leicester City, admitted the move was a huge moment in his career.

"To join a club of this stature, with such a strong history and a passionate fanbase, is something I’m really proud of," Justin told Leeds’ official website. "Getting back into the Premier League was massive for me and I’m over the moon that it’s finally happened. I’d known about the interest for a while, but while I was still a Leicester player I gave everything for them — and that’s exactly what I’ll bring here. Every time I step on the pitch in a Leeds shirt, I’ll give my all. Now that it’s official, it feels like a weight has been lifted and I can’t wait to get started. Everyone I’ve spoken to about the club and the city has said brilliant things, so I’m excited to meet the lads and get to work."

With his versatility to play both full-back roles and his Premier League experience, Justin adds valuable depth to Daniel Farke’s squad. He could make his first appearance for the club as early as Tuesday night, when Leeds take on Sheffield Wednesday in the second round of the Carabao Cup.
