Fenerbahce are reportedly ready to make a bold move for Marcus Rashford, preparing a €40 million (£35m/$47m) bid in hopes of luring the Manchester United forward to Turkey this summer. However, the Turkish giants are expected to be met with disappointment, as United remain reluctant to part ways with one of their most high-profile players.

Rashford endured a turbulent 2024/25 season, with inconsistency and off-field speculation clouding his form. Despite that, the 27-year-old remains a central figure at Old Trafford, especially under the new leadership of Rúben Amorim, who is believed to be planning a fresh tactical system to reignite Rashford’s influence in attack.

Fenerbahce, buoyed by recent financial backing and ambitious recruitment plans, view Rashford as a marquee signing who could lead their charge for domestic and European success. The proposed fee of €40 million would make him one of the most expensive arrivals in Turkish football history, and club officials are prepared to match the player's current wages.

However, early indications suggest Manchester United have no intention of selling, particularly at that price. Rashford still has multiple years remaining on his contract, and Amorim is said to be keen on working with the England international rather than sanctioning his exit.

From the player’s perspective, a move to Turkey is not currently seen as a priority. While Rashford is aware of the speculation, he is reportedly focused on proving his value at United and reclaiming his best form in the Premier League.

Unless Fenerbahce significantly increase their offer — or Rashford himself pushes for an exit — the deal appears unlikely to progress. United may be open to selling fringe players this summer, but their No. 10 is not currently on the outgoing list.
