Marco Asensio declines Fenerbahce offer amid interest from Inter, Milan and Villarre

ASENSIO REJECTS FENERBAHCE OFFER – AC MILAN, INTER & VILLARREAL NOW IN RACE FOR FREE AGENT

Marco Asensio has reportedly rejected a lucrative offer from Turkish giants Fenerbahce, opting instead to take more time to weigh up his next move — with AC Milan, Inter, and Villarreal all monitoring the situation closely.

The Spanish winger, currently evaluating his future after a mixed spell at Paris Saint-Germain, is expected to make a decision soon as interest continues to grow across Europe. While Fenerbahce were prepared to make Asensio one of their highest earners, the 28-year-old appears to prefer staying in one of Europe’s top five leagues.

Asensio is understood to be open to a fresh start, ideally with a club offering regular playing time and a clear role in the squad. His technical quality, ability to operate on either flank, and experience at the top level make him an attractive proposition for clubs looking to boost their attacking depth.

AC Milan and Inter are both exploring options to strengthen their wide areas, and Asensio’s availability on a cut-price deal or loan could make him a viable target. Meanwhile, Villarreal — where Asensio previously shone during loan spells in La Liga — are hopeful of luring him back to Spain with the promise of a central role and a return to familiar surroundings.

A decision is expected in the coming weeks, with Asensio’s representatives continuing to field inquiries. The former Real Madrid star remains calm about his next move, but clubs across Italy and Spain are now positioning themselves for what could be a bargain deal in the final weeks of the transfer window.
