Sean Dyche would give serious thought to becoming the next Celtic manager if an offer arrived, according to Football Insider. The former Burnley, Everton and Nottingham Forest boss is reported to be interested should Celtic need a change mid-season. As always with gossip, treat it as a rumour: nothing has been confirmed by Dyche or the club.

Celtic's other news: Jota and Tounekti

There is better news on the pitch for Celtic fans. Winger Jota played 45 minutes of a behind-closed-doors match against Falkirk on Friday, the Scottish Sun reports. He had been out for 18 months with an anterior cruciate ligament injury, so any minutes at all count as progress.

Sebastian Tounekti is also back at the club earlier than planned. Tunisia cancelled a friendly with Mali at short notice, and the Scottish Sun says that freed him to return to Celtic ahead of schedule.

Hibs and Dundee United

At Hibernian, new manager Marink Reedijk says he has put his players through a "pre-season on steroids" at a Spanish training camp, according to the Edinburgh Evening News. Whether that pays off will only show once the results start coming in.

Elsewhere, Vicko Sevelj has defended his switch to Neftci. "I left on a good note," he told the Daily Record, saying the move was a great deal for him and for Dundee United.

A young left-back in demand

Finally, Football Insider says English League One, League Two and Scottish Premiership clubs are all lining up moves for 21-year-old TNS left-back Zach Nolan. The report talks about plans rather than deals, so treat it as interest, not a done transfer.
