SERIE A'S COMO CONSIDER TRANSFER MOVE FOR BRIGHTON'S IGOR JULIO

Ambitious Serie A side Como 1907 are considering a move for Brighton defender Igor Julio as they continue to search for defensive reinforcements.

The 27-year-old joined the Seagulls from Fiorentina in 2023 for around £14.5m but has yet to establish himself as a regular starter, making just 16 appearances last season under Fabian Hürzeler due to injuries and limited opportunities.

Como, backed by strong US investment and led by head coach Cesc Fàbregas, view Igor as a potential option to bring top-flight experience to their squad. However, no official approach has been made, and convincing the Brazilian to return to Italy could prove challenging.
