FRANKFURT BOUND? MCATEE READIES TRANSFER PUSH AS MAN CITY EDGE TOWARDS £20M SALE
James McAtee could be set for a move away from Manchester City this summer, with the talented midfielder now exploring the possibility of a switch to the Bundesliga, amid growing links to Eintracht Frankfurt.
The 22-year-old, who spent last season on loan at Sheffield United, has returned to City with his future uncertain. Despite being highly regarded within the club’s academy and development structure, McAtee faces stiff competition for minutes in Pep Guardiola’s stacked midfield, and a permanent move is now firmly on the table.
According to reports, McAtee has held early discussions with Eintracht Frankfurt, with a trip to Germany believed to have taken place to assess the club’s project, facilities, and vision for his role in the squad.
