Chelsea value Jackson at £100m amid AC Milan's emerging interest

CHELSEA SET £100M PRICE TAG ON NICOLAS JACKSON TO DETER AC MILAN, DESPITE SIGNING DELAP & JOAO PEDRO THIS SUMMER

AC Milan are actively exploring options to strengthen their attacking line ahead of the 2025/26 season, with Chelsea striker Nicolas Jackson reportedly among a shortlist of six forwards under serious evaluation by the Rossoneri hierarchy.

The Serie A giants are prioritizing reinforcements up front as part of their ongoing squad rebuild, following the departure of several key players and a campaign that saw inconsistencies in the final third. Milan’s recruitment team has identified multiple profiles across Europe, focusing on players who bring a combination of physicality, movement, and goal threat.

One name that has emerged prominently is Nicolas Jackson. The Senegalese international had a mixed season at Stamford Bridge, showing flashes of quality but also struggling with inconsistency in front of goal. While Chelsea are not actively looking to sell, there is a belief within Milan’s camp that the 23-year-old could become available for the right price—especially with increased competition in Chelsea's attacking ranks and Jackson’s position in the squad appearing less secure.

Milan view Jackson as a high-upside project: a forward with strong physical attributes, Premier League experience, and the potential to thrive in a system more tailored to his strengths. The club is weighing whether to pursue a loan with an option to buy, or a permanent deal if Chelsea’s valuation becomes more flexible.

In addition to Jackson, Milan are also monitoring other targets across Spain, Germany, and France, aiming to bring in at least one forward before pre-season begins. Internal discussions are expected to intensify in the coming days as the club begins narrowing down its shortlist.

With new head coach Massimiliano Allegri now settled, the club is hoping to give him a more balanced attacking arsenal capable of challenging for the Scudetto and making a strong Champions League push. A dynamic forward who can stretch defences, link play, and offer depth behind or alongside Olivier Giroud’s eventual replacement is high on the agenda.

While talks with Chelsea have not yet advanced, Milan’s interest in Jackson is serious—and could gain momentum depending on the direction of Chelsea’s own transfer activity.
