KLOPP TO ROMA? AGENT DENIES SENSATIONAL SERIE A MOVE – 'NOT TRUE!' EX-LIVERPOOL BOSS NOT JOINING FROM RB LEIPZIG
Speculation surrounding Jurgen Klopp’s future has taken another twist, with fresh reports linking the former Liverpool boss to a sensational move to AS Roma. However, the German manager’s representative has firmly denied any agreement is in place, dismissing the claims as entirely unfounded.
Klopp, who recently stepped down after nearly a decade at Anfield, was rumored to be in talks to take over at the Stadio Olimpico in a stunning return to top-level management. The reports suggested that Roma, eager to usher in a new era following recent managerial uncertainty, had identified the charismatic coach as their top choice.
But speaking in response to the speculation, Klopp’s agent made it clear there has been no contact or negotiations with the Italian club. “There is no truth to these stories,” the statement read. “Jurgen is currently enjoying his well-deserved break and has not committed to any future role.”
Since leaving Liverpool, Klopp has publicly stated he intends to take a sabbatical from football, emphasizing the need to recharge after a demanding spell in England. His future beyond that remains uncertain, though it’s widely believed he will return to the sidelines when the right opportunity arises.
As it stands, any hopes of seeing Klopp in Serie A appear to be premature. For now, the former Borussia Dortmund and Liverpool manager is staying away from the touchline, despite being one of the most sought-after names in world football.
