SOUTHAMPTON SIGN MIDDLESBROUGH ATTACKER FINN AZAZ ON FOUR-YEAR DEAL
The 24-year-old playmaker has been one of the Championship’s standout performers in recent seasons, directly contributing to 46 goals during his time with Plymouth Argyle and Middlesbrough.
After completing a switch from Aston Villa to Boro in January 2024, Azaz went on to make 68 appearances, scoring 17 times and laying on 17 assists. His creativity and consistency have made him a highly sought-after player at this level.
Sharing his excitement about the move, Azaz said:
“It feels incredible to finally join Southampton. The transfer has been talked about for a while, so I’m thrilled it’s over the line. I know the club is in the Championship right now, but everything here operates like a Premier League side. My focus is on helping the team push for promotion and hopefully lifting the title.”
Group technical director Johannes Spors expressed his confidence in the new signing, adding:
