GALATASARAY LAUNCH €3M BID FOR MAN CITY'S EDERSON AS TER STEGEN LINKS EMERGE
Galatasaray have reportedly launched an ambitious bid to sign Ederson from Manchester City, tabling an offer of around €3 million (£2.6m/$3.5m) in an attempt to lure the experienced goalkeeper to Turkey.
The Super Lig champions are actively searching for a long-term successor to veteran shot-stopper Fernando Muslera, who has held the No.1 spot for over a decade. The club views Ederson as an ideal replacement — not only for his exceptional distribution and composure but also for his winning mentality and pedigree at the highest level.
Ederson, 30, has been a cornerstone of City’s success under Pep Guardiola, playing a key role in their domestic dominance and Champions League triumphs.
